Tour de Bello
30 August - 2 September 2018
Tour de Bello is held over four days / three nights, from early afternoon on Thursday through to late Sunday morning, enabling plenty of travel time to arrive from and return home while not dipping too much into your precious leave time.
All rides start and finish at the resort complex meaning you can unpack and relax. On some days we have both longer and shorter ride options to suit riders of different abilities.

Afternoon: Alex, Kath & the team will be hosting a BBQ where you can admire the views of the Great Dividing Range of the Dorrigo National Park overlooking the Bellinger Valley and The Promised Land.
DAY 4: SUNDAY
Dorrigo / Skywalk Lookout
Distance: 57 km
Elevation gain: +1450 m
Tour de Bello's Alpe d'Huez stage. Today we ride to Dorrigo along the picturesque Waterfall Way. Don't let the modest distance fool you though, this ride includes a 9 km long climb up Dorrigo Mountain with an average gradient of 7.8%. After the climb it's only a few more kilometres to the township of Dorrigo and a well earned cafe stop.
After refreshment, we make the short ride to the Dorrigo National Park Rainforest Centre for an opportunity to view the amazing sights from the Skywalk Lookout. Have your cameras ready! Once finished with this photo opportunity, you get to descend back down Dorrigo mountain for the ride back to our Bellingen home base where you can shower, change and pack for the journey home and be back well in time for dinner.
If you'd rather give the climb a miss, let us know and we'll make arrangements to get you up to the top. It'll still be a quality 50km ride and you'll get to enjoy all the sights.
We have a late check out time so there's no rush to get out the door - take your time and be fresh for the journey home. Perhaps enjoy a nice lunch in Bellingen township before heading home.
